Michael Barrantes gave Costa Rica a 1-0 lead in the ninth minute. But Panama took a 2-1 lead on goals in the 28th and 39th minutes by Luis Tejada. Alvaro Saborio tied the match in the 52nd before a crowd of 32,000 at newly remodeled Rommel Fernandez stadium in Panama City.

Cuadrado scored with a powerful shot in the 17th minute and Moreno used his speed to beat the defense, adding the clincher in the 66th. Both teams failed to qualify for the 2010 World Cup and are regrouping for the 2011 Copa America in Argentina.

We strive to develop players at all levels of play by building and improving skills, confidence, fitness, initiative and a sense of teamwork.  We encourage high standards of sportsmanship and fair play.  We support and promote educational and training opportunities through which players, coaches and others in the Missoula community may expand their knowledge and abilities in the great game of soccer.

Brazilian Soccer in Missoula

Missoula kids at the Brazilian Soccer Camp July 16, 2010

Brazilian Soccer Camp, sponsored by FC Missoula and held at the Fort Missoula South fields July 12-16 was a tremendous success. Many believed the "Brazilian way" was an unprecedented level of soccer skills training and conditioning for Missoula kids. So successful was the July 12-16 camp, Challenger Sports and the Brazilian coaches agreed to stay and offer a second week of camp in Missoula from July 19-23!
