2009 Girls

Spring 2022 Update

The 09G Premier White team has had an excellent season on and off the pitch. Collectively, the girls decided this was the season where they wanted to put an emphasis on technical growth, tactical knowledge, and consistent play across 70 minutes. After months of learning 2 formations, juggling/dribbling at home for hours, and sticking to our principles in extremely challenging games - it's fair to say this group has been successful. This group is a true band of warriors that are not afraid of any contest. While our success is not defined by results, there are a few milestones that display the hard work put in by these ladies:

  • Reached Montana State Semifinal
  • Champions - Three Blind Refs (Gold Division)
  • 2 out of the 6 Montana players selected for ODP Far West Regional ID Camp
  • Participating in Crossfire Challenge - Seattle

Looking forward to what the next season brings! Great job ladies.

The 09 G Blue team had an excellent Spring 2022 season and continued to grow both as a team and as individuals. The team joined the 09 G White team in the State Premier League, making FC Missoula the only club in Montana to have two teams competing in an age group's top level competition. The girls focused on improving their fitness, teamwork, soccer acumen, and developed a positive attacking style of play along the way. 12 different players found the back of the net over the course of the season, and many girls had the chance to try out various positions on the field. A few of our season highlights include:

  • 2nd place finish at the HotShots Tournament (09 Silver)
  • 2nd place finish at the 3 Blind Refs Tournament (09 Silver)
  • 2nd place finish at the Montana State Cup (08 Gold)

Looking forward to another great season of FC Missoula Soccer with this wonderful group of young ladies.
